Queen of Yoga.’

It seems like a hot new trend, but yoga actually began more than 5,000 years ago in India. The word yoga is Sanskrit (one of the ancient languages of the East). It means to “yoke,” or unite, the mind, body, and spirit.,

Even yogi’s had a hard time sleeping at night, anxiety from relationships and the need for intimacy. There was unexplained fatigue, low back pain, stress and yes! even unhappiness with your job
Granted, life was much slower then, but the technology and techniques are still applicable today!
Yoga Nivas is quiet; it provides an intensive, semi-private and individualized yoga class.

In the cozy, home-style space of Yoga Nivas, there will be an experience, a deepening of self, a quiet oneness, a centering, and genuine state of healing.

My teacher, Yogi Bhajan, was born in India on August 26th, 1929, became a Master of Kundalini Yoga at the age of 16 under the tutelage of the great Master Sant Hazara Singh. He came to the United States in 1969, and began teaching Kundalini Yoga, also know as the “Yoga of Awareness”. Before this time, this sacred technology was passed only from master to student, and was never taught openly.
Yogi Bhajan always told his students that he did not come here to gather disciples, but rather to train teachers. There are currently thousands of certified Kundalini Yoga Instructors around the world. For teachers and Kundalini yoga classes in your area, visit: www.kundaliniyoga.com
