Everybody Ready, Let’s Tune In!

Yoga poses now begin, First we’ll do our mantra Ong Name

to bless our selves from head to toe: Ong Namo Gurudev Namo

Spinal Flex

[child sits still in criss cross pose, now with hands on knees, flexing spine forward & back]

First we’ll make a camel then we flex our spine,

In again, out again, you’ll are doin’ fine.

Where’d you like to travel to?  China, Iceland, Timbuktoo? A playground, circus or the zoo?

Spread your wings like eagles do!

Rock Pose

Now be a rock travelin’ in a bus

Bumpity, bumpity, bumpity bump

Keep your head way up~ bumpty bumpty bump!

Butterfly Pose

Fly like a butterfly, fly fly, fly

Fingers reach up to the sky@

Light little butterfly, for a while..

Then fly little butterfly, Bye, Bye, Bye

What color were your wings today?

Cobbler’s Pose

Now hold your hands around your toes,

Heels together, down below.

Inhale, and exhale, through your nose.

Bring your head up light and slow,

Now stretch again toward your toes.

Close your eyes and just let go.

Frog Pose

Stick tat tongue out to the sky

Jump right up and catch that fly.

Crouch…then jump up. Quickly! Quickly!

Stick that tongue out, long and sticky.

Catch that June bug, lickety-lickety.

Jump, jump…lick, lick…ribbitty, ribbitty.
